Do you strive to do the right thing in any affairs of our your life.
In some cases people tend to believe that doing the right thing sometines may cause you lose one or two 'temporal' material things. Why do i call it a temporal material thing? Because what you achieve by playing the 'fast guy'when you should do what is right has an effect on your integrity and your climb in life.
What actually makes you do the right thing? It is character.
Character will always push you to do the right thing no matter what the crowd is saying.
To understand it better, look at this quote by Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.'Cowardice asks:is it safe?Consesus asks:is it popular?Character asks:is it right?.
Always do the right thing and you will not regret it.
In conclusion, ponder on this story from The Word from today-a daily devotional guide
'During the final play-off of the U.S Open,Bobby Jones'ball ended up in the rough just of the fairway. As he set up to play his shot,he accidentally moved his ball.He immediately turned to the marshals and announce a foul. The marshals hadn't seen the ball move;neither had anyone in the gallery. So they left it up to Jones whether to take the penalty stroke. He did.Later when someone commended him for his integrity,Jones replied,'Do you commend a bank robber for not robbing a bank? No,you don't.This is how the game of golf should be played at all times.'Jones lost the match that day by one stroke, but he maintained his integrity. His character was so well-known that the United States Golf Association's sportsmanship award came to be named The Bob Jones Award.'
Always do the right thing,it pays to do it .

Don't Loose Hope
Are you loosing hope because you have not yet met your expectation? Don't!
What is forthcoming is far better than what you are seeing now.Your tomorow is still better than your yesterday, just keep persevering,as long as you are 'working and walking' according to the purpose of God in your life, there is hope for you.
You may be saying i have put in all my best yet i am not seeing any result,it will come in due time, remember there is a time to sow and a time to reap, and as i believe you are sowing hardwork as your seed, you will reap the harvest which is success in due season.
Remember how long it took the Isrealites before they entered the Cannaan land, yet they still entered it irrespective of all the difficulties they encountered.
Am i saying that you will stay that lenght they stayed? No,but just using it to tell you that your due season will come.
And God will not forget your labours and efforts.
Keep Persevering,
You will laugh at last.

Some Mistakes To Avoid
As I am committed to motivate and empower for success,I present to you three mistakes to avoid
Some people do make some mistakes as they grow in life, and those mistakes if not taken care of will hinder your progress in life.
Without wasting time lets look at some of them.
1 Keep Longing for yesterday:Some people do always expect the way things happen yesterday to be the same with today, remember what the bible says that it is not wise to ask why were the old days better than these.(Ecc 7:10).And God instructed us through prophet Isaiah by saying that we should forget the former things,do not dwell in the past that He is doing a new thing.
What i am saying is that whatever that has happened is past,do not dwell on them,if there is something you need to learn from it,learn and move on with the future, because your tomorow will be better than your yesterday.
2 Longing for some future destination: Do not think that when you get to a particular level in life that it is when you will derive the type of happiness you want. No ! Your happiness and satisfaction should be on a daily basis.
The bible says this is the day the Lord has made;let us rejoice and be glad in it.(Ps 118:11)
Each day that comes you ought to achieve something and at the end of that day you sit back and rejoice because of the achievement of that day.Take proper analysis of your daily activities,if there is anything you are doing that will cause you to feel that you have wasted that day, turn from it,because God wants you to rejoice for each day that He has made.
3.Thinking that your abilities are limited: Do not limit yourself, the bible says that i can all things through Christ who gives me strenght.God has endowed you abilities to achieve a lot,do not limit Him,because His supply abilities and strenght is not limited by His power but by the extent you are willing to go.
A story was told of some students who have been studying and preparing very hard for a semester exam, but to their suprise,on the day of the exam, the lecturer entered and told begin by saying,i know how hard you have been preparing for this exam, and because of that,i am willing to offer a 'B'to anyone who will skip writing this exam, many were happy and accepted the offer,he now handed the question paper to the few that insisted on writing the exam, and when they opened it,the message reads: Congratulations, you have just recieved an 'A' in this course, keep believing in your self. From this story you can learn that it is not good to settle for a 'B' when God has given you all it takes to have an 'A'.You can do all things through God.
Correct these mistakes today, and you will see chaanges.
Thank you for taking time to read through, till i come again, keep progressing.

Why are you not having it?
I am starting again with a question as usuall.
I hear people say,how i wish i have this, how i wish i can do this, how i wish this, how is wish that. Why are you just wishing? Why can't you have it.
You have all it takes to have or do,awaken the sleeping gaint in you.
Let me give you a little tip for you.
In business and marketing world, there is a tool called SWOT analyis,this tool helps marketers in planning and setting goals.Each letter stands for;
S-Strenght
W-Weaknesses
O-Opportunities
T-Threats.
Strenght and Weakness are Internal factors while Opportunities and Threats are external factors.
Internal because they are within you and external they are outside you.
You may be wondering what it has to do with you.
Well,I will say apply this marketing tool to your life in this way;
Find out your Strenghts, you have a lot of them, energise them and put them to work.
For your Weaknesses which may include things like fear, doubt etc overpower them and use them as driving force,
Opportunities are all over around you, sharpen your inner vision, see them and utilize them.
Then those your Threats, defeat them and move ahead.
I feel i should go further, but let me stop here to give you time to ponder over it.
For me one of my driving force is with these keywords; DREAM,ACT and ACHIEVE.
I don't know about you.
Just stick to this blog,as i am committed to motivate you to success.
See you again.

Do You want to grow?
If your answer to the question above is Yes,then you have to embrace change
Let me take your mind back to the just concluded US election, won by Barack Obama.
A lot of factors contributed to the success of his winning. But my area of concentration is on Change. And that happens to be one of the captions which he used during his campaign which the citizens embraced a lot, because they felt there are things that need to be changed.
What am saying in essence? Am saying that change is very vital in your growth in life.
Many see change from different angles.i hear things like it is not how we used to do,
its not how the peolpe of the past did it,is not this is not that.
Waoo! who said that system should not be changed.
Remember that God said,i will do a new thing, meaning changing what you were before to another thing. He aslo brought
into existence things that were not existing before. That is change.
The inventors of mobile phone, aeroplane, cars etc, invented them because there is need to change from the old type of phone box, stop walking on foot for a long distance etc.which in turn made life easy.
For you to grow from the level you are to the next level you desire, you must embrace change.
Are there things you need to start doing and some you need to stop doing to make your life better,do it.if you are sleeping too much, minize it;time is money, change from that life of procastination and get to work,do you keep friends that do not impart positively into your life, change them.
Any change you have to make to improve your life,do it without hesitation.
I don't mean to shout on top of your head, but in conclusion,i say CHANGE WHAT YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THAT WILL IMPROVE YOUR LIFE.

WHY YOU MUST DEFEAT YOUR ENEMY
Who is the enemy?
Your neighbour? No, Your colleague? No, Your relations back home? No. Your enemy is FEAR.Why
-Because Fear is an enemy of progress.
-Fear is a success destroyer
-Fear is a killer of dreams and visions
-Fear is a torment.
-Fear can kill physically like in the case of Lagos bomb blast years ago, many people wasted away out of fear.
And on the other hand, most of the things you fear about dont even come to reality.
Fear is the oposite of Faith. Faith is that which makes you believe that you will succeed even when you have
not actually seen the
physically evidence,In other words,it has a positive attitude to circumstances.
While will always bring a negative evidence or picture to your imagination,
giving you a negative attitude to circumstances.
With the above facts,it therefore becomes necessary that you must overcome that fear.
Replace that fear with faith.
Go ahead,conquer,win.
Success awaits you.
Your comments are welcomed.

What Do you have in your Hand?
Okey Chigbu
Don't be scared! I am not asking of the 'little' money you have with you.
I got that question from the bible when God asked Moses 'What do you have in your hand'and i know as well as you know
that it was just a ROD and that rod did wonders.I will not go into the details now.
But my point is thatwhat you have with you is all need to achieve what ever you need, don't try to immitate someone.
And a you have a lot,but i will only talk on IDEAS. Ideas are more than money.
When Ideas are put into action,it generates results.
Your ideas can do wonders for you, don't put a limit to it,don't supress it,don't use it for unnessasry arguements.Put it into
useful work.
It is said that Ideas rule the world.
With your ideas, you can invent, develop, modify or create things.
Determine to use what you have to start that your dream business, write that your book, invent that thing you have been dreaming of,
infact 'just do it' and apply your faith.
See you on top.
Consider these quotes:
The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the possible ------ Arthur C. Clarke
Man's mind once stretched by new idea, never regains its original dimensions.---- Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr
I welcome your comments.

To Have an Amazing Life You Have to Take Amazing Risks
By Esther Bartkiw
Walt Disney's first company went bankrupt. Instead of giving up he headed to Hollywood with twenty dollars and a suitcase to start a new business. He believed in himself and his ideas. It turned out to be a really good risk.
Michael Jordan was cut from his sophomore varsity basketball team for being too short. He stuck with the game and ended up one of the best basketball players in the world.
Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope, running across Canada after having one leg amputated due to cancer. He wanted to raise money for cancer research. Terry never finished the run because cancer took his life. To date more then 400 million dollars have been raised for cancer research in his name.
Winston Churchill did poorly in school for which he was punished. He also had a stuttering speech impediment. Churchill went on to become the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and a Nobel Prize winner.
One of the greatest baseball players of all time Reggie Jackson struck out 2597 times at bat.
Each of these individuals teach us that in order to have an amazing life you have to believe in yourself and take extraordinary risks even when everything and everyone around you sends the message that you can't do it.
When you take risks you can start big or small according to your threshold of comfort. Some people take giant leaps and others feel more at ease with baby steps as they build their risk taking muscle. It doesn't matter which category you fall into, as long as you are taking risks.
Sometimes you just have to jump into things instead of dwelling or meditating on them for days on end because hesitation may result in a missed once in a life time opportunity. Just use logic and make sure you aren't putting your life or someone else's life in danger.
If you find that you want to take more risks but something is holding you back; or maybe just the thought of taking risks has you shuddering, get to the root of issue. Maybe you are holding onto a fear or belief in your mind that is limiting and negative. Perhaps you don't even know what is stopping you from taking the risk, you just know every time you want to step out and try something new, you find yourself frozen and rooted in place.
This is the perfect opportunity to examine your beliefs about risks, failure and making mistakes. Also notice and become aware of your beliefs and thoughts about yourself and your abilities.
A person might take a risk and make a mistake, but it isn't a failure until he or she decides that it is a failure and starts beating themselves up about it.
Are you worried about what other people might think of you? How do you measure success? Do you fear success? Are you dealing with lack of self confidence, self worth and deserving? Negative and limiting beliefs in any or all of these areas need to be uprooted, re-engineered and replaced with positive beliefs in order to start moving forward.
It's important to believe in yourself and to take risks. Holding a mind full of positive beliefs will support, encourage and propel you forward. When you start taking risks, jumping on opportunities and accepting challenges amazing things begin to happen; an amazing life unfolds and at the center of that is an amazing person. That amazing person is you.

Do What You Love
By Gary I Cooper
One of my favorite subjects is on finding or choosing your true passion. One reason it's one of my favorites is because I'm the worst case there ever was of when-to-do-it! When is the best time to make your move? How are you going to tell your boss? How are you going to tell your wife? What can you say when your not happy with the $75,000 a year job? Of course the amount is not important. It could be $25,000 a year or $180,000 a year.
The important thing is it's just not you. You're always working for someone else. There is always a ceiling on the dollar amount. You're not calling the shots. How many times have you had to bite your cheek; I better not say anything or I might get fired! My mistake to me was I waited too long. I felt I would wait until the time was right! I wish I had not waited until twenty-five years later, instead of a couple.
I'll mention a few lines here just in case you had not heard my story. I'm sure it's floating around on the internet somewhere. But, anyway. I quit high school at the age of 15 and ran off to Sunland Park a racetrack in El Paso Texas. Now mind you that was a long way from Dallas Texas. You know, just a kid, it could have been just as well the circus or board a ship to be a sailor, or be a rock star, but whatever, it's what I decided to do! And, no one the face of the earth could change my mind once I decide I'm going to do something. How do you say it? Hard heads!
I rode up until I was about twenty-six. When I started I weighed about 95 pounds. I was a late bloomer just one to not finish growing until a later age. It just got to where I couldn't make weight any longer. Then, they came out with digital scales making it harder and harder to cheat. You know two fingers on top of the scales trick.
I was what you call a free-lance jockey. I didn't just ride for one stable. I rode for many. I never wanted to be tied to just one stable. One source of income. My checks came from eight to twenty or more different sources. If I and a trainer didn't see eye-to-eye about something, there was always another trainer down the shed role. It wouldn't break my bank. I hand my exercise-money coming in.
Some jockey's thought they were too good to exercise day mounts. They just rode the races. Then I had my race checks coming in. I also did a lot of off the main racetrack circuits at training farms. Breaking the yearlings and two-year olds getting the young ones ready for the racetracks.
This was another bad habit of mine that the injuries have came back to haunt me in later years. I would always ride the crazy's, the mounts that no one else would ride. One to not have very good sense (me). Go find that Coop guy, that's what they called me. He'll ride anything!
One thing I did do is to prepare myself for another occupation because I knew I would not always be able to ride. One winter I took up a technician school for the day I could no longer ride. The only problem is, there is a limit to how much you can make. There are, just so many hours in a day.
So as a young man I knew to have your income coming from multiple sources. I was far more a better businessman then. What happened to my own theory? Well, listening to other people and not doing my own passion. Of course I can no longer ride. But, it took me more than twenty-five years to come back around to what I want to do!
In network marketing, another jungle in itself, but with specialized knowledge it can be learned. And, there is no limit to your income. You can take any hobby or skill or art or whatever! There is a way to turn, that to income. I myself, the absolute worst at writing, see what I mean? It gets better with practice.
Turn your passion into bucks. I thought I would share some of my path, to the internet. And, hope that some of my reader's take from my experience, because I spent thousands in trial-and-error on the internet. Whatever your deepest core desire will surface. Until next time . . . the rest of the story!

If You Want to Do Something - Do It!
By Melanie Keveles
How many times do I have to learn this lesson before it doesn't surprise me each time I encounter it? Years ago I learned that if I wanted to become a career consultant (that was before I trained to be a coach), I had to simply find an audience and start practicing my craft.
I rounded up a group of people in New York, led a workshop based on materials I borrowed from my mentor and could truthfully say I was a Career Consultant from that day forward. It was as important for my self-esteem as anything else that I had that experience under my belt. That gig led to my consulting at Monsanto, which led to my outplacement job with the first outplacement company in St. Louis. That experience led to my own business, a book deal for Fired for Success: How to Turn Losing Your Job into the Opportunity of a Lifetime! By simply doing something, I started a chain of events that extends more than 25 years into the future!
So yesterday, when I saw two stories on CBS Sunday Morning that contained the same lesson, it didn't take me long to make a note to myself to write about this issue.
Being Discovered on YouTube
You might like the music of the rock group, Journey or even have purchased one of their 70 million albums sold over the years. If you are a fan, you might know that this group has been in decline since its lead tenor, Steve Perry, left in 1996 to have a hip replaced and never returned. Two other lead singers who joined the group in the past decade never captured the magic Perry had created.
This difficult situation put the whole band in disarray for years. Yet when their 1981 signature hit "Don't Stop Believin" played last year at the end of the final episode of the popular HBO series Sopranos, the band saw a great opportunity for a comeback ... if only they had a lead singer!
Dean Castranovo, one of the band members, told Sunday Morning he was driven nuts by not having a singer and being able to go out on the road at that point.
Not leaving the situation to chance, another member of the group, Neal Schon used the Internet to search for a new lead singer. He was looking for a "legacy sound, a tenor voice... with soul and emotion."
After two days of surfing YouTube, he came upon a video of Arnel Pineda, a 40 year old Filipino who sang with a group called The Zoo, mimicking everybody from Sting to Led Zeppelin.
When he heard the young singer belt out Journey's own "Faithfully," Schon picked up the phone and called the Philippines, inviting Pineda for an audition in the United States. After he arrived, Arnel Pineda was immediately asked to join the group - there was no doubt in his talent.
A Remarkable Background
Arnel Pineda has been singing from an early age, remembering at five how his mother would ask him to sing along with her as she crooned with Barbara Streisand and Karen Carpenter on the radio.
His parents, both tailors, would create outfits for him to use in performances as they sent him out to participate in singing contests. Being shy, he would often run away as they chased after him with a tape measure.
Sadly, his mother died when Arnel was 13 after a long illness which bankrupt the family. For some period he was homeless, with no more than a piece of biscuit to eat for three days at a time.
But he used the gift his mother gave him, crooning in Hong Kong nightclubs.
Like the line from the song, Pineda's advice to all of us is not to give up - "don't stop believin."
What his story reinforces is the power of just doing what he wanted to do - not hoping to sing with a big band and waiting around for his ship to come in - but getting into action and grabbing whatever singing opportunities he could find. Providence honored a man who was already doing what he intended to do - sing.
Starting From Scratch
Another story exemplifies the same lesson: Whoopi Goldberg, a high school dropout from the projects of New York today is one of only 13 people who have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award.
She too started from humble beginnings even though she had a sense from an early age she wanted to act. In her case, she actually got caught up in drugs on the streets of New York. After a stint in rehab, she reoriented herself to her dream. Her experience growing through her naivety on the streets grew into various character sketches she wove into her own one woman monologue performance she called The Spook show.
Taking the initiative to create and perform her character sketches brought Whoopi Goldberg notice. Little by little she made her way from stage to stage until she ended up impressing director Mike Nichols who was instantly taken in and offered to bring the show to Broadway. Among the 156 sold-out performances which were also taped and shown on HBO, she caught the attention of director Steven Spielberg who cast her in The Color Purple.
Again, the moral of this story is that Whoopi did herself her biggest favor by getting into action and creating her performance - doing what she wanted to do by just doing it!
The question is: What could you just do - get into action on - that will propel you into the future that's awaiting you?

What Do You See - Problems Or Opportunities?
By Scott Hove
Scott Hove
Level: Platinum
Scott Hove is a professional speaker, consultant, trainer and coach - as well as an author. Hove was born in Grafton, ND and raised ... ...
How is your vision?
That is; what do you see?
Our nation is currently (this is being written in August 2008) facing an economic downturn defined by falling home values, high energy prices, volatile stock prices, rising unemployment, the credit crisis and more!
If all you do is read, listen and watch the media stories it seems as if we should just shut everything down for a few months and see if things turn around.
However, not everyone is experiencing "bad times." Not all businesses are failing. Not everyone is out of work. Why is that the case? Do these people see something others don't or can't see?
I had the opportunity to attend Dan Kennedy's "Super Conference" in April of 2005 in Chicago, where he said, "Most people don't see opportunity everywhere they look!" Notice that he just didn't say, "see opportunity" but added these critical words: "everywhere they look."
Kennedy then elaborated on this thought by giving an example from Disney World in Florida. They had a problem. Actually, they still do!
It rains in Florida (even at Disney)!
Often!
Kennedy correctly said that most people would see the rain as a problem. However, Disney World implemented a "rain parade" and decided sell rain ponchos for $8-12 so tourists could view the parade comfortably! As a result, millions of dollars are added to the bottom line yearly because of the "problem" of rain.
Disney turned their problem into an opportunity.
Danny Deutsch talks about this same thing during his show on CNBC called "The Big Idea." He regularly asks his guests about the problem(s) they had and how they solved them. He then looks into the camera and tells the viewers to actually look for problems that need solving because that's where there are business opportunities!
Deutsch is right, of course; but that isn't how most people are wired. But you can be! You just need to do some of your own inner electrical work to get re-wired. It is a shift of sight. That is, shifting from "seeing" only problems to "seeing" opportunities that exist exactly because there is a problem. This change can happen almost immediately if you decide to let it happen.
Here are five questions to ask yourself the next time you see a problem:
1. Who else experiences this problem? (Determines market size/viability.)
2. Does a solution currently exist? (Determines competition.)
3. If there is no current solution to my problem, what does the solution look like? (Turns the problem upside down to determine the possibility of a new product, strategy, or business.)
4. If there is a solution I'm not currently implementing what is stopping me? (Determines personal or corporate roadblocks to moving forward.)
5. What do I do now? (Incorporates action rather than remaining stuck.)
When you are faced with a difficulty, do you see a problem or an opportunity? What happens when the rain falls in your life?
Begin, today, to see the opportunities that lie within your problems!

Do You Fear Change?
By Lynn B Lawson
Lynn B Lawson
Level: Basic
OneFunkyMama.com was founded in April 2008 by Lynn Lawson. With a passion and background in the fashion and beauty industries and a love for helping ...
Taking that step, that first step, in any new direction can scare the skirt off any woman. Whether it's a family move to a new city, your first speech in front of colleagues, or buying an outfit that you love- but you think others may question, "Have you lost your mind?", moving into uncharted territories sometimes can have us paralyzed.
In these cases, we have to dig up the root of our fear before we can move forward. In each instance that you're facing apprehension, you have to question, what is the anxiety? Do you worry about change, or is it a fear of failure or success? Usually, the concern about change ties in with being afraid of failure or success.
Fear of failure is closely related to concern about criticism and rejection. Ask yourself, does your fear stem from an unsubstantiated issue in your childhood? If so, recall that memory and feel the pain associated with it...for 1 minute. Then, move on. Often, we may not have any recollections tied to the anxiety that's facing us. It's completely fabricated. Our mind is an incredible tool. It can liberate us -- or debilitate us.
The classic symptom of fear of failure is being afraid to try something because it may end up being a big-fat zero, goose egg, or disappointment. We subconsciously press play on those thoughts over and over in our minds. Failure is the worst case scenario... and it may or may not happen. But what if it does? What does that say about you? What it says is you tried! And it should give you a little more moxie to make another attempt at your goals.
What is surprising is that often, we are equally fearful of success as we are of failure. In many women's minds, success leads to having more on our plate or being in demand even more (say what?). We assume that success means that our lives get more hectic, and who wants that?
Success requires change, and change has both positive and negative consequences. Our schedules may change, we may have more issues to deal with, or more (little) people and things to juggle. But, at the same time, other things that were just taking up space in our lives may fall away. And, in the end, you'll feel more fulfilled.
Facing your fears is an incredible way to free your mind of the limitations YOU put there.

Taking Action Gets Massive Results
By Michael E. Zacher
In the meaning of be, do, have, there are several factors to be considered. The being part is the mental side. The journaling, visualizing. The doing part is much more important. Its the action side. That puts into motion, the being part into reality.
As you have realized there are 2 sides of the coin with Personal Development. Called personal responsibility. Personal responsibility to yourself. The word is Action!
Choosing to sit on a pillow or coach, visualizing or meditating for hours or longer will not put any bread on your table. Being very self aware and never taking action is unproductive. Your personal responsibility is to visualize the outcome and work out a game plan backwards from the end to the beginning. Then put a plan in place, with action in mind, to fulfill those goals.
If you put in all that mental work and not do something, you have wasted all that energy. Thus you are stagnant. You will achieve results when you take the steps and check them off your list.
To get the results, take forth the action steps. Its important that you understand that there are 2 sides of the coin to achieve results. That is the Being and Doing.
Goal writing, visualizing and knowing who you are. That is the Being part. Success requires the completion of the steps. Its too simple and easy to get caught up in the drama part of being. Conceiving a thought about a funnel of money flying into your bank account. More has to happen.
You must move onto the next step. That is the Doing part of the Be, Do, Have. Who are you being while you are taking action? The opposite side of taking action, is constantly being busy. Too many errands, picking up this and dropping of that, cleaning and sweeping. Other words, creating tasks that are not goal worthy is wasted energy. Some people call that busy work. Those errands are important, better for another time. That time is delegated towards your business.
It is about being, doing and taking the right action for that goal. When that is done, everything else starts materializing.
You should start with achievable and esteem able goals for your to do list . Takes action and effort. On the other hand, if you get in a rut, maybe you forgot a step on your list. Maybe you forgot to workout? What is holding you back? Not exercising, journaling, not going out to lunch with someone because you got busy? What step did you miss?
Start your day with esteem able and measurable goals. Something that you can accomplish. Put it in your win column. Feel that success. Did that feeling, feel powerful? Build on that feeling during your day. Write down and then celebrate those wins. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Build on the sequence of esteem able results.
It is about the expectation of leadership.Taking the action and having momentum. You are the person of leadership that others find worthy to follow. Not only do you find leadership, others find leadership in you too!
Have the expectation that the next person you talk with could be the next top earner on your marketing team. Call you leads back promptly. Be enthusiastic and focused on the moment. Recognize all your successes. Write then down hourly, daily and weekly. put them into a journal. When things start going south, open that journal and recalibrate those wins. Bring back those feelings.
Success begets more success. Declare your success. Its not bragging. Its about retraining your thinking. Think bigger, be bolder then your previous thought. Say your success statements out loud to the universe! You are successful. Be bold, "Bring it On!" You are more powerful then the circumstances of your life. You choose your direction. Take command of all your actions and decisions.
Take the position that when you do esteem able things with action. The universe will respond positively. Therefore you took the right action. Massive action!
Let say you don't have enough leads to talk with about your business. Take massive and positive action. don't sit on the coach and mope. Go for a walk and use the 3 foot rule. If they are in 3 feet. Could be the next millionaire in your business. There are hundreds and thousands of people interested in hearing about your business. Making sense of that feeling while you are putting that into action will increase you feeling of abundance.
Take the right action, set the right goals. You are going to be the best come hell or high water. Nothing is going to stop you. Its that unstoppable being ness. Moving into massive doing that creates the extraordinary results for the rest of your day, week and month.
Is your career stagnant? Boring, In a rut?Looking for a alternative? http://www.ceoincomenow.com

Identify Yourself and Your Undesirable Habits and Problems That Have Been Troubling You For Ages
By John Mannington
No I don't mean it literally "Identifying yourself as a candidate for undesirable habits and problems to the community!" But read on and you will know what I mean.
An understanding of your own habits and problems may be more difficult than it seems; the realisation of them may not be as transparent either. So how do you identify them? Yet how do you know if they really exist in your life at all, or are you in denial?
Well the answer to that is look at the choices you make every day, such as your activeness, your activity patterns, your health, the people you associate with. You simply need to be aware of what you do on a day to day basis and differentiate the time and effort in your choices in life. Take for example, look at your eating patterns are you regularly making something to eat on a continual basis because of boredom, look at the choices of the food and amount of intake as well? Do you have to pick up a cigarette every time you think or dwell upon something? Do you choose to drink alcohol every time you are feeling lonely or depressed? Remember all of these are just choices, right?
Remembering the key word "Choices" it is your choice to eat on a continual basis, but it is also a choice to set a normal eating regime, that is a choice as well. Knowing your choices can really help you identify your own habits and problems and that is identifying and acknowledging yourself and not associating or blaming anybody else for those habits and problems, because those choices are what you make and decide upon.
WHY WE TEND TO PART AWAY FROM OUR DESIRE TO CHANGE?
For some, because of past failures choices and decisions are hard to make and that is because the past failures weigh heavenly upon ones subconscious and have created many other emotional issues and inadequacy which they have over time been allowed due to repartition develop into habitual tendencies.
Initially we continually summon up and re-instate these behaviours, as instead perhaps as cure and or as a camouflage; but eventually we allow them to take over and take charge then they take on a life of their own and that becomes a habit as well as problem for one's well being.
Of course, our plans to part with old undesirable habits and problems overnight are not confined to any one individual or any one problem or habit, the concept and desire of a "change" a "new leaf" is always desirable for a short period of time and often resisted and that is often what causes the problems.
If and when we all understand that there is no magic formula for one to change and improve one's self and or to break old undesirable habit/s and or problems, nor in so many cases by the use of willpower, the problem here is that willpower is something that very few of us have and so it is not always ones best option.
However quick and permanent results can be best and easily achieved by one carefully assessing ones real goals and then listing all of one's anticipated obstacles and roadblocks that may or will stand in the way of their success and then work on a way to deal with and overcome those obstacles, saboteurs first, in their order of importance, rather than trying to push for the main goal first. One can do this by a well thought-out assessment, plan and process of choices.
They are annoying at best and self destructive at worst, most undesirable habits and problems will always return and again take residence over and over again and will continue to haunt us, if we are not serious about our choices and applied approach.
That is something that the overweight's, the smokers and excessive drinkers virtually every time that they undertake a cure without the proper preparation.
Tension, anxiety, stress and depression are all too often to blame for our compulsive mannerisms. We tend to overeat, smoke, drink excessively, as an attempted cure for those above mentions saboteurs; some will also bite their nails, when they are anxious and or fearful of something. In addition: Experience has shown me that these activities often serve as outlets for aggression when we can't express directly for fear of someone's disapprove, which is also an indication that one has some self confidence and image problems.
INSTANT GRATIFICATION
Undesirable Habits and or problems of excessive indulgence can also have their destructive and a compounding effect on one's self confidence and self image.
To change and repair low self-confidence, a person often turns to overeating, smoking and binge drinking to compensate in an attempt to manage their perceived inadequacies and or failure or disappointment of some or any kind. But overeating, smoking and or excessive drinking only relieves the stresses of frustration for a very short-time and in reality this type of imaginary gratification actually perpetuates and compounds such behaviour.
The above mentioned choices and reactions are in fact only leading them on to a much more psychologically distorted logic of reality and even ill health.
HOW TO COPE
Firstly think rationally and do not give in and cop out. The only losers in achieving a chosen goal are the quitters. Sheer willpower has little to do with ones overall success but it can in some cases help. The first thing that must be done is that we must determine ones motivation, ones goal and our goals will in turn motivate us into making choices to overcome and to manage our un-desirable habits and problems. From there one must assess what it was and will in the future sabotage any of one's efforts towards becoming an achiever and work on them, overcome and manage the saboteurs and you are on your way to making your subconscious your slave and not your master.

How To Inspire Yourself
By Jennie Gandhi
Staying motivated is an integral part of life. Else it can roll you to the foot of the hill and you will not even realize it. Going with the flow is an equation people draw up in life. And stick to their formula till the water has dried up in the pond.
Then suddenly they realize that their life has passed by and they have not been able to make something out of it. Another reason why people take up the equation is because of failure. They tried to do something in life but it failed. So they do not want to take that step again. A teacher once in school said, that failure is a stepping-stone to success. Walt Disney is a classic example. He went bankrupt before he could initiate Disneyland. Henry Ford too got broke 5 times before he actually started his business venture.
The first thing to feel motivated it to be with peace with yourself. Don't draw up the inadequacies in you. Instead look at the advantages. Then look into the mirror everyday and say, "I can do it." No task is impossible if you believe in yourself.
There are times when family members or close friends look down on your idea and tell you switch it off. But if you believe in yourself, there is no harm trying. Instead of plunging in completely begin completing a smaller task. So if you want to open a business in fabrics. Get yourself the know-how of fabrics - Indian & international, the spend, the manpower required, the logistics and all the details. If you are not in the industry, then take up a job so that you get hands on approach. Partner with someone of your calibre and begin a few transactions. The satisfaction your work will earn you is far more leveraged than sitting and idealizing.
Here are a few pointers to push you off the couch.
*Value what you are thinking and are about to do. Do not look at it as just another thought. If you believe in yourself then value your idea.
*See yourself doing what you want to. So if it is flying a plane then visualize yourself in the cockpit, taking the plane up and soaring the skies.
*Find some motivation and inspiration through quotes or senior people who look up to you.
*Reward yourself every time you have achieved a small target. This way you will be happy with small things that you accomplish.
*Partner with friends or associates who you think will be best to begin the venture. If they are on the same wavelength as yours then the goal will not seem too far.
*Forgiving and forgetting - this is very important if you have not been able to achieve your dream. Agreed, you have burnt your fingers but take it as a learning step. So forgive yourself and others.
Forget the episode. Begin on a fresh page.
In today's stressful life apart from hard work one also needs inspiration to succeed in the task thus good. http://www.inspirationalquotations.net and http://www.inspirationalspeeches.net can help to achieve success in life. Personal Mastery - Diligence And Prudence
By Steve Wickham
Steve Wickham
Level: Platinum
Steve Wickham is a safety and health professional (BSc) and a qualified lay Christian minister (GradDipDiv). His passion in vocation is facilitation and coaching; encouraging ...
Diligence and prudence are two complementary factors in developing a strong, focused, and pliable character to augment the development of wisdom. This subject is not for the faint of heart. It's strictly for those in life who genuinely seek to grow without regard for the personal cost. This growth is obviously counter-cultural to the flow of Western life, which is so often pleasure-based and at odds with the development of character.
It is argued that when a person can master both qualities I call Principal Values viz diligence and prudence, and demonstrate high competence in living them in a consistent day-in-day-out way, then they have achieved personal maturity that God intends for them as a person. This is personal mastery over the desires, and competence in that person's ability to test their own heart and seek God for direction along their way.
Not only does this person live in a highly diligent way, they do it for the right reasons i.e. prudent perspective drives the diligent way. They're careful in their expression of diligence. Conversely, this person is also highly prudent, yet they gird their discretion with a level of detached accountability that oozes diligence -- again, their prudence is driven from the right heart or motivation.
A person with low levels of prudence, but high on diligence may exhibit a brash boldness that gets things done hang the consequences i.e. simple greed or too carefree. The other extreme is a person low on diligence but high on prudence; this person may be inclined toward motivational problems -- they might know what they need to do but can't do it for lack of the principal value of diligence i.e. simple laziness or lack of courage. What is confounding for people with both of these conditions is the lack of motivation or ability to do what the wise know is right -- across the board -- in spite of the personal cost.
We can view these both on Quadrant model (which can't be seen in this article). People fit anywhere on the Quadrant according to their cross-referenced proficiency in diligence and prudence.
What people find is the hardest thing to get through is the "motive wall." This is the biggest barrier to attaining high levels of both principal values.
The key in personal mastery is determining where we fit on both scales and then it's about setting goals to improve our motivation, increasing our character around both diligence and prudence.

When Opportunity Knocks Open The Door
By Donna Beserra
In this world we are each given many opportunities for achievement and enrichment of our lives. The problem is that many people don't even notice those opportunities, or they simply ignore them. Some people feel they are too challenging, require too much effort, and that it may take too long for them to reap the benefits.
I've had many opportunities come my way. I tried my best to grasp each one even though I felt overwhelmed. When I wrote my first Twirly Shirley book several years ago, I had to struggle to get it published, but I did so because I did not want to miss an opportunity. I went on to take publishing and business classes so that I could Self Publish my other books.
At the same time I was doing all of this, I was given two more writing opportunities. I wrote two short stories to be published in two separate places. One of them was published after I went through editing and revisions. The other story has not yet been published, but may someday be when another opportunity comes my way.
In addition to everything else that was going on, I was struggling with the computer. I was not experienced with a computer, and I had to learn as I went along. I did have some help from others who were knowledgeable about computers, but there were many things I had to figure out for myself.
I managed to get three books and a short story published. I had to take it slow because I didn't have all the funds that I needed. I had used photographs of my children and computer artwork that I did myself. When I first wrote the stories, they were part of a hobby that I shared with my children. The books were very special because my kids were in them. I had decided to publish them so we could share the stories with other people,
A few years later I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in years, Melody Karns Trone. Melody was an artist. Melody and I are now working together to create new versions of my Twirly Shirley books. I am so thankful for Melody because I am not an artist and could not do professional work. Melody is a very talented artist, and was able to base many of her illustrations on the children.
I have strived for success and have now started reaping the rewards of all of my efforts. I can't describe all of the benefits I have received by opening the door to opportunity, without writing an entire book. My advice to you is this: When opportunity knocks at your door, be sure to answer! I'm so glad I did.

Change Yourself By Raising Your Own Standards
By Deepak M
Every individual aspires to change in life for better, as only thing constant in life is Change! A change will be of real value if it is everlasting and consistent. Many of us experience changes which last only temporary, making us feel let down and there by disappointed subsequently. Many people have there by developed a mindset unconsciously that changes are always temporary. For example, some one wanting to lose weight, finds himself/herself procrastinating doing it as he /she unconsciously knows whatever efforts he/she puts to slim down, will be only rewarded for short time.
That does not mean that one cannot develop a mentality which will help in having a an ever lasting change. These are the same changes an individual must make in order to create personal change, a company to maximize its profits and so on. The same applies to the world community which must be made to preserve the quality of life globally.
One of the things an individual should do if he sincerely wants to make an everlasting change is to raise his standards. He must change as to what he demands from himself... obviously that should be for better or in fact the best! One should write down all the things he/she would no longer accept in his/her life, things which would be no longer tolerated, and all the things which one aspired to become!
There are many examples of people who raised their own standards and acted accordingly to maintain that benchmark. History has inspiring examples of people like Henry Ford, Albert Einstein and Steven Spielberg to name a few, who went many extra miles to raise their standards. The same power exists in every individual if he/she has the courage to unleash it. So, unleash the power within and begin with the first step - changing yourself!

Stop Thinking And Start Doing - Getting Motivated
By Ian Kelly
Do you ever have problems finding that motivation you need to get all your activities done for the day. Let's face it, most of us are very good at the planning aspect, we write out a list of tasks that we would like to accomplish for the day. You may have even broken them down into career or work tasks and personal tasks, perhaps you have gone even a step further and assigned priority next to each of the tasks but still you are not getting everything that you desire to complete.
There are I believe two reasons for this. The first is one that haunts the vast majority of us, we lack the motivation. The other is a little more subtle. We do not do the high value, often more arduous tasks first. These tasks are often the ones that will take the most time to accomplish, but will provide the largest reward once done. We push them aside to and complete the smaller but lesser tasks first. We do this to gain a sense of accomplishment. We can sit back at the end of the day and look at our tasks list and see that have a lot of ticks in the right place, but for some reason we do not feel a sense of accomplishment.
This is because we spend too much time on the tasks that matter the least and not enough on the ones, while larger and more difficult, will lead to the greater reward in the long run.
The other area is simply gaining the motivation to get in and start doing. I previously spoke about desire and it's key role in providing motivation. Ensure that you are working on the right desire and have the task that you set out specifically linked to that desire. Before starting to write out your tasks and again before you start on a specific task ask yourself: "How will accomplishing this task get me closer to that which I desire?" If you can see, or more to the point feel inside of you the positiveness of accomplishing this task you have really just started to kick off you motivation to get in and start and complete any task.
The key tie in your tasks and goals to your desire, once this is in place and you complete the task you will soon see that you are moving towards that which you desire, this will in turn build your motivation and before long you get to the end of the day will a great sense of purpose, direction, feel empowered and eager to wake up to the next day so you can again take a step to fulfilling your desires.
Magic stuff wouldn't you say?
To your success

Self Motivation Skills - 8 Skills For Staying Motivated
By Dr. Steve Tuggle
Self motivation skills are essential if we are to enjoy success, fulfillment, and fitness throughout our life. We may benefit tremendously from gifted motivational speakers, books, and seminars. But if we are to continue to move forward and make progress in achieving our goals we must develop our own personal skills for staying motivated.
These are skills that can be learned and improved with time and effort. We never reach a point where we can stop honing these self motivation skills. As we become more skilled we are able to move forward more quickly and reach for even higher goals.
Improve Your Life With These Self Motivation Skills:
1. Take responsibility. Blaming others for your lack of motivation and inability to persevere in reaching goals is a waste of time. People who constantly blame their boss for their lack of motivation on their job will inevitably stay frustrated and unsuccessful in their work. Get in the habit of not letting other people's words and actions have an impact on your motivation.
2. Stop procrastinating. This self-defeating habit can be devastating to your motivation and your ability to reach your goals.
3. Take action. There is a time to think and plan but then there it time for action. Nothing will happen until you take some action. Don't allow yourself to be paralyzed by fear and indecision. Steps of action will lead to more and more motivation.
4. Stop comparing. Comparing yourself with others will inhibit your own personal growth and motivation. Focus on being the very best that you can be and allow others to do the same.
5. Eliminate negativity. We can get bombarded with negativity from friends, family, media, co-workers, and even our own thoughts. Negativity can kill out excitement and keep us from living a motivated life. Skillfully eliminating this negativity can be a great boost to our motivation.
6. Be realistic. After proper self-evaluation you should set goals that are attainable. Setting goals too far out of reach leads to frustration and depletes our energy and motivation. A common example of this is when people set weight-loss goals. You can only lose 1-2 pounds of fat each week. If you set a 10 pound goal you will become frustrated and defeated. Be realistic.
7. Make plans. Failing to plan is planning to fail. It's an old saying but full of truth. When you follow a well-devised plan you will stay motivated.
8. Reward yourself. Take time to celebrate. Include those who helped you reach your goal. This will keep your motivation fresh and keep you moving forward.

Count Your Blessings
By Jennifer Tankersley Platinum Quality Author
I was driving home from an exhausting morning of dropping kids off at school, running errands, and fulfilling appointments. I passed a marquee on my route that displayed the simple phrase, "Count Your Blessings." This is a phrase that I have heard many times in my life, but for the first time, I focused on what the words actually mean. I have always thought this phrase to mean that I should be grateful for what I have. It is often used when something bad has happened and in order to look at the bright side, I am reminded to count my blessings. However, on this sunny day, as I was tired and looking forward to reaching the home I share with my family, I thought about these words in a new way.
I began to inventory the positive things in my life. At the top of the list are the obvious blessings: my family. If I were making a list, my family alone would take up the first 50 spaces. Next would come the friends I have made along the way. In my lifetime, I have lived in 7 different towns or cities around the United States and spent a minimum of two months on three other continents. I have met a lot of people and am thrilled to say that there are many good people everywhere I have been privileged to visit. My health and the health of my husband, children, and parents are not to be under appreciated. There are so many people who are at this moment worrying about issues of life and death for a loved one. Finally, there are basic needs that are fundamental to existence: food, clothing, and shelter. My family is fortunate to be able to enjoy an evening meal together with plenty of food to fill our plates and bellies. Our closets are full of possibilities for approximately three weeks of outfit choices. Just over a year ago, we came to Maine to find a place to live and chose a house in which we envision our children growing up and eventually grandchildren roaming the halls.
It is important to take stock of the good things in our lives. On those days when I feel like things are not going my way, I can look at my growing list of things for which I am grateful. Take some time today to "Count your Blessings" and discover just how full of life and love you truly are!

By Austen Seekabow Platinum Quality Author
Disorganization in your life can really hurt, not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually. There are lots of reasons that we let our homes upkeep go. How the Israelites' Days in the Desert Relate to Us Today
By Ianny Lau
When God, through Moses, led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt some 4000 years ago, they complained about lack in the desert. Probably discomfort, too.
In Numbers chapter 13, the twelve men who explored the 'land flowing with milk and honey' had just returned to the camp. Ten of them were terrified by the magnitude of the task of taking over 'the fortified cities inhabited by people stronger and more powerful than they were'.
In Nu 14:2, the Israelite community grumbled against Moses and Aaron, prefering their misery in Egypt to what they perceived as uncertainty in entering the promised land.
How does this relate to many of us today?
You see, we yearn to live meaningful lives without bondage to a means of livelihood. Many of us are enslaved to making ends meet, yet our efforts do not seem to yield.
There must be alternative paths out of stagnancy - haven't many others already claimed their success? But like the 10 Israelites (who actually saw the final outcome, ie the promised land, with their own eyes), we are paralyzed by what we perceive as an overwhelming task.
So, we are not willing to swap the known today for the unknown. That is understandable. But ponder yourself honestly for a second. Will you 'sacrifice' your position today even if you did know the final outcome with absolute certainty?
The point is this: contrary to our desire to set free, subconsciously, we do choose to stay put.
One way out of this dilemma is to take small steps. "A journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step". The steps don't have to be drastic. They are essentially as simple as setting aside small affordable investments as seed to new streams of income.
Choose investments or businesses that do not tie up your time in the long run. Passive income streams take time to build, but once going, you only have to attend to them from time-to-time. Don't let them be full time jobs.
If you had taken the drastic step of leaving your job to dedicate to building alternate income streams, be watchful not regret when you remember 'Egypt'. You will encounter some ups and many downs. But count your blessings throughout the process. Recognise miracles that happen to you and journal them! (The Israelites had quite quickly forgotten that God was in charge. How could they not remember the awesome parting of the Red Sea?!)

Your Intentions Are Talking About You
By Margaret Meloni
For many weeks now you have listened to one of your colleagues say, "I really should dust off my resume, this position is not growing my career." In spite of this it never occurs to you that your colleague is truly going to make a job change. You hear many people talk about what they should do or name actions they need to take. But actions speak louder than words and right now all you are observing is talk and no action.
Then one week you hear a new phrase. "This weekend I want to work on my resume", you even hear a different tone of voice emanating from your colleague. Now it sounds like after weeks of stating he should be starting a job search, he is really moving forward. And it occurs to you that perhaps he really is serious about looking for a new job.
Two months pass and you and your colleague meet for lunch. Excitedly he tells you, "I am accepting a Senior Manager position at Acme Software." And now you see that he has followed his intention from a spark of an idea, to the execution of an action plan. Now you believe that he is leaving the company.
In the above story you can follow the levels of intention:
• Level One: I should or I need - This indicates recognition of or a desire to make a change or take an action, but is not an action plan.
• Level Two: I want or I am going to - Now the talk about a change or action is being transformed into a plan, it may make the top of the to-do list.
• Level Three: I am - A clear statement of intention reflecting action and ownership for the results. This is the execution and this is where an intention becomes a reality.
Take note, if a team member looks at you and says, "I know I owe you that design document and I should have it by Friday." Or, "I should really get to work on your project." This is not the same as when that same team member looks at you and says, "I know I owe you that design document and I am going to send it to you on Friday." Or, "I am working on your deliverables right now."
In most instances the use of should, going to or I am will tell you the strength of the intention.
